Here are the?recordings of the 2015 Transforming Work Conference key note speakers:
Working theologically – what on earth am I here for? David Benson, Malyon College
All of life is for God?s glory. This includes the highs and lows of our mundane existence. This includes our everyday vocation. In the current rush to transform work, though, have we slipped into triumphalism and forgotten Christ? In this keynote address, Dave will unpack Jesus? mission in Luke 4 and 10. Centred in the kingdom of God, we are invited to join Jesus in working for shalom and salvation. This expansive theological frame is a safeguard and a springboard for all we do. In the big story of creation, fall, and redemption, we?discover what on earth we are here for.

Working practically ? what is the experience of work in Australia and globally in the 21st century? ?Dr Lindsay McMillan, Reventure?
What does that mean for Christians today? What is the current experience of workers in Australia and globally? How do we as Christians interact with a dynamic world of work that is 24/7/365? Lindsay has recently concluded interviewing 50 business leaders worldwide to gain their understanding and observations of the current business landscape and the future of work and organisations. He will provide an overview of this research, the issues impacting Australians at work and frame a Christian world view of work. Why is there a gap? Lindsay brings a wealth of business experience and insights into this very practical topic.
Working pastorally ? how can churches support Christians on their workplace frontlines? Kara Martin, Ridley Marketplace Institute
How can churches encourage, equip and empower Christians for effective work and witness where they spend a large proportion of their waking hours? Kara has worked with churches to help them activate an integrated approach to connecting Sunday worship with Monday working, including by seeing that worship does not end on Sunday, but can be expressed through working.
